What is your normal timing?
Our shelters are bespoke - made to order - so our normal delivery time to your agent is 6 weeks (from payment received by us) for the North Island, or 8 weeks for the South Island.
If this is too long for your project, or you have a big family event approaching, please let us know, and we can see what we can do!
The Sheet
Is the polycarbonate sheet available in clear?
No - clear is just too damn hot!
We have settled on and offer just a nice medium grey sheet which cuts out:
- ~100% of UV radiation
- ~50% of visible light
- ~33% of heat
This is the best Goldilocks solution ... Not too dark - not too light!
We only use polycarbonate sheet because it is 15x stronger - yes 15x - than the cheaper alternative acrylic or perspex which is used by many other companies
Our Prices
We are the only shelter company that put our prices online as we want our customers to have full information. We also can provide fixed quotes in most situations with a few images, and dimension - just send a message and ask!
Is GST included?
Yes
Is there a discount for more than one roof?
No, because we already have very competitive pricing for such a high quality product
Do you have payment or finance terms?
No - We like to keep everything simple, so require full pre-payment of kits from our agents so the deposit your agent requires will reflect this
Other FAQ
Do you still offer a DIY kit option?
No, we decided that from April 1 2018 that we would only supply kits to our agents.
- We have more than 20 agents in New Zealand now, but If you have no agent in your area ... please feel free to introduce a builder/roofer that may inspire us ...
- They will have to inspire us too as we are fussy!
However the good news is that we now have an upfront agent-installed pricelist. Our pricelist covers most situations, and your agent will use it as a base for more complicated designs!
Is Flexiroof's system patented?
Yes, - invented designed, and (mainly) made in New Zealand (Taranaki)
